Trauma-informed Psychotherapist

Julia Elstrodt is an experienced psychotherapist integrating Jungian depth psychology with mind-body healing.

Holistic Healing of Mind, Body, and Soul

Embodiment and Somatic Awareness

Drawing from an extensive background in dance, theatre, and meditation, Julia places embodiment at the centre of her work. This practice of holistic healing utilizes breath, movement, and somatic awareness to help clients ground themselves, regulate their nervous systems, release physical and emotional tension, and reconnect with the body’s innate wisdom and strength.

In the words of a Great Ascended Master of the East:

"That which we repress, destroys us. That which we embrace, saves us."

Spirituality in Our Healing Journeys

Faith or any personal framework of meaning is acknowledged as a vital component in finding purpose in life. Spirituality is treated as a unique and authentic path, entirely defined by the individual. Your beliefs are honoured as an integral part of your healing process, providing a context for understanding and growth.

How it Works

The core of this therapeutic work involves a deep exploration of the mind, body, and spirit. By fostering a safe and respectful environment, Julia allows each client's unique inner wisdom to guide the healing process. This method of holistic healing facilitates a connection to one's authentic self, allowing for a natural and harmonious flow in life. The focus is on embracing your inner world to find balance and resolution.

In the wise words of Buddha Gautama

"First, we choose paths with our personalities and things don't go well,

then we choose paths with our inner worlds and things simply flow."

Jungian and Mind-Body Therapeutic Approach

At the heart of Julia’s practice is the healing power of the therapeutic relationship. She meets every individual with profound respect, openness, and genuine curiosity, creating a strong foundation for trust and meaningful progress. With a background in the analytical psychology of C. G. Jung, this client-centred approach ensures that you feel seen, heard, and valued throughout your journey.
